Harilo for Nepal: New Public-Private Partnership Initiative

We're happy to announce the launch of "Harilo for Nepal", a new public-private partnership initiative aimed at improving quality of life in Nepal - one item at a time.

Harilo.com began from the idea that living in Nepal should not mean that we get less than the rest of the world – less selection, less quality, less service. We believe this idea extends beyond our customers; it applies to all of Nepal. Residents of Nepal deserve a better quality of life. Be it in areas of health, education or infrastructure, we deserve better solutions.

Through "Harilo for Nepal", a new public-private partner initiative, Harilo partners with non-profit organizations including NGOs, charities and foundations in Nepal to help them purchase items from the US that are critical to their work but are either not available or too expensive in the local market. Harilo offers the same order and delivery service to non-profits as it does to its customers. We will order the items requested and take care of all customs, shipping and VAT logistics. But we will do it at cost, meaning $0 profit.

If your organization is interested in participating in Harilo’s public-private partnership initiative, send us an email at support@harilo.com. We’d love to hear from you.
